YKLAS AKZAMOV APPOINTED PRESIDENT OF THE AKTOBE REGION TAEKWONDO (WT) FEDERATION

The meeting was attended by Meirambek Makhambetov, Head of the Aktobe Region Department of Physical Culture and Sports; Aral Sadykov, Secretary General of the Kazakhstan Taekwondo (WT) Federation; representatives of the regional federation; and coaches.

During the meeting, Yklas Akzamov was appointed President of the Aktobe Region Taekwondo (WT) Federation.

The meeting also acknowledged the contribution of Zhalgasbek Imanbayev, who previously headed the regional federation, and expressed appreciation for his work and efforts to develop taekwondo in the region.

The new president’s priorities include further developing taekwondo in the Aktobe Region, creating favourable conditions for athletes and coaches, supporting young athletes, and improving results at national and international competitions.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Yklas Bisengaliuly was wished every success in his new role and in his efforts to advance taekwondo in the Aktobe Region.
